Art in “Southeast Switzerland” ( Kunst in der Südostschweiz) is an annual exhibition organized by the Media group “Südostschweiz”. Every year an artist is invited to exhibit about thirty images in their localities for a whole year. Peter Dettling was invited to exhibit his nature photographs for the year 2011. The nature photographer decided to dedicate this exhibition to the struggling global biodiversity and called this exhibit “SOS Biodiversity in distress".
